Miner Family

When Lucy and I first talked about arranging a family portrait and maternity session, I had no idea how much fun I would have. With kids, you never know how it's gonna go but with William, Lucy's 1 1/2 year old, it was a breeze. He was all smiles the entire day I spent with him! After I snapped a few pictures of him around the house, we headed down to the beach for some family photos and it was a beautiful morning for it. Not too hot, not too cold and perfectly overcast. With the bay bridge in the background, we just walked along the surf and let William take the lead!

Thank you Lucy, Don, William and baby Miner for a wonderful weekend! Congratulations on your soon-to-be new addition.

Christy + Family

One of my favorite moments of this weeks photo session was when I asked 3 year old Canton (soon to be 4!) how old I looked. He looked me straight in the face and said very seriously "I don't know but it's OLD." He is by far one of the smartest little kids I've had the pleasure of photographing and his parents were just as sweet!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that this isn't my last session with these guys because as you can see, they'll have a new addition very soon. Congrats Christy and happy Birthday Canton!!

Nikki's Maternity Shoot

Tuesday night, I met with Nikki and her family at Cooks Creek Arboretum just before sunset to capture a few photographs of her before she is blessed with her second baby. This adorable family was an absolute joy to work with! I'm so excited for them and can't wait to be working with Nikki this summer to shoot some weddings.

Congratulations Nikki! You have a beautiful family!

Simmons Family

One of the first families I ever had the privilege of photographing was the Simmons family. My friend, Lee Anne, was expecting her second child at the time and it was so much fun running around the park with their daughter Isabelle.
