The Murphy Family

I met the Murphy family back in the Spring, just before little Canton was about to turn four. At the time, he was an only child and when his mom Christy emailed me a few weeks ago to say his little sister had arrived, I was ecstatic!

Baby Liberty was appropriately named since she was born on the 4th of July, just a few weeks ago. She was only 5 days new when I got the chance to photograph her and she was perfect. Liberty made the Murphy's a family of four and a beautiful family at that. :)

The Urso Family

When Carrie emailed me saying she'd like to get newborn pictures of her daughter and some family photos, I was ecstatic. It's been a while since I worked with a tiny little infant and I couldn't wait. Not only would I get to work with a beautiful, tiny little baby girl but the Urso family also has twin 4 year old boys!

I had so much fun working with this family, especially when Luke and Chase took advantage of the warm Summer evening to run through the sprinkler. It was a memorable session and I really really hope they ask me back! It is always a treat to photograph such a beautiful family.

Baby Fiona

Yesterday, I got to photograph one of the sweetest newborns I've ever seen. She barely made a peep the entire time I was there and the Simmons family was wonderful to work with, as they always are. I've had the great pleasure of photographing their family three times now and hope this isn't the last. They're the sweetest couple with the most beautiful daughters. A treat for me and my camera.

While I can't deny the beauty of a fresh, new, squishy newborn, big sister Isabelle was just as much of a joy to photograph. Really - how can two people make such gorgeous children?! Lee Anne and Corey - y'all must be doing something right. ;)

Baby Noah

The birth of my son, Noah, has definitely changed my life. When he was born last February, I had no idea I was missing something in life until he filled that void I never knew I had.

Of course, as soon as I got home from the hospital with him, I snagged my camera and took advantage that I had my own personal model to photograph. Be on the lookout for many more posts featuring my happy, snuggly, baby boy -- but, very few of them will feature him asleep like you see here. Rambunctious does not begin to describe my child now.

Baby Quorra

One of my very first and probably one of my favorite shoots I've done is of my niece Quorra. She was brand new at the time and as beautiful as ever. She stole my heart the first day I saw her which is quite fitting since her name means "heart" in Italian.
